I enjoyed the workouts and I look forward to week two! I feel this plan is more accessible to a wider range of fitness levels than some of her other DVDs. They also offer advanced versions of many moves, which I followed and got a great workout every time. But don't think that means they're too easy. The week one workouts seemed much more beginner friendly than Jillian's other workouts. I know when I originally went off of sugar I had headaches, sluggishness, etc. Some people may even feel withdrawal-like symptoms as they detox. There's no fruit, grains, sugar, or alcohol. It's strict.Īs I already eat Paleo the 7-Day Kickstart diet wasn't too tough for me, but I'd imagine if you're eating a more standard diet it could be a little tough. If you're coming off a more standard diet, or being less active I could see how you would lose faster during this week. I think that since I already eat Paleo and workout regularly week 1 wasn't such a shock to my body as it's intended. Many people have told me they've lost more in week one. As I have been at a plateau for several months (5 maybe?) that's quite a bit for me. All told I lost 2 pounds and 1 inch in week one of Jillian Michaels Body Revolution. ![]()
